The reports of Alan Faneca signing with the Jets were a little early, but they turned out to be true. Today the Jets officially signed Faneca t0 a 5 year deal worth 40 million dollars (21 million is guaranteed). This signing helps reshape the Jets offensive line which was a big area of concern last year.<\/p>\n

With Faneca playing left guard in between talented Left Tackle D’Brickashaw Ferguson<\/a> and Center Nick Mangold<\/a> the offensive line has a new and improved look to it.
