{"id":11741,"date":"2012-03-27T16:20:16","date_gmt":"2012-03-27T20:20:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=11741"},"modified":"2012-03-27T16:20:16","modified_gmt":"2012-03-27T20:20:16","slug":"scotty-mcknight-is-back","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2012\/03\/27\/scotty-mcknight-is-back\/","title":{"rendered":"Scotty McKnight Is Back"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last April the New York Jets drafted Scotty McKnight, who was a childhood friend of Mark Sanchez.\u00a0 He was a 7th round pick who was initially <a href=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2011\/09\/03\/final-53-cut-down-day\/\">waived on the final roster cut down day<\/a>.\u00a0 He was resigned in September and place on the practice squad before getting injured and going to the I.R.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the official announcement from the NY Jets:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The New York Jets have signed <strong>WR Scotty McKnight<\/strong>. The announcement was made by General Manager Mike Tannenbaum.<\/p>\n<p><strong>McKnight (WR\/5-11\/182\/Colorado\/Coto de Caza, CA)<\/strong> was originally drafted in the seventh round (227<sup>th<\/sup> overall) by the Jets in the 2011 NFL Draft, spending training camp with the club before joining the practice squad (09\/20\/11). He suffered an ACL injury in practice and was placed on Practice Squad Injured Reserve (11\/01\/11).
