{"id":1140,"date":"2007-10-23T16:53:28","date_gmt":"2007-10-23T21:53:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=1140"},"modified":"2007-10-23T16:53:28","modified_gmt":"2007-10-23T21:53:28","slug":"jetnationcom-top-10-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2007\/10\/23\/jetnationcom-top-10-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Jetnation.com Top 10"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" align=\"right\" width=\"173\" src=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/graphics\/Articles\/headers\/top10.gif\" height=\"115\" style=\"width: 173px; height: 115px\" \/>By Nick Ferraro<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1.\u00c2\u00a0 New England Patriots<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Pats are moving through their schedule with frightening ease.\u00c2\u00a0 It does help that the rest of the AFC East is 3-17.\u00c2\u00a0 Two weeks until they visit the Colts, and the second half schedule is <!--more-->much tougher.\u00c2\u00a0 That being said, there\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a good chance the playoffs will run through New England again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.\u00c2\u00a0 Indianapolis Colts<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Colts made some people believers last night in Jacksonville.\u00c2\u00a0 The Jags had been impressive, and it was thought their smash-mouth style would give the Colts fits.\u00c2\u00a0 Today the Colts are 6-0, and the Jags have a lot of work to do.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.\u00c2\u00a0 Dallas Cowboys<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Cowboys have their flaws, but they have to be respected.\u00c2\u00a0 They play all three NFC East rivals in the next three weeks.\u00c2\u00a0 They have a chance to separate themselves in the league and in the conference.\u00c2\u00a0 I say after the next three weeks the NFC East is a dogfight.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.\u00c2\u00a0 New York Giants<\/strong><br \/>\nIsn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t this supposed to be the bad NY team?\u00c2\u00a0 The Giants are rolling.\u00c2\u00a0 The pass rush is ridiculous.\u00c2\u00a0 Burress comes to work on Sundays and dominates.\u00c2\u00a0 Who needs practice?<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.\u00c2\u00a0 Pittsburgh Steelers<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Steelers get a pass for Sunday night to a certain extent.\u00c2\u00a0 Denver was home and desperate to save their season.\u00c2\u00a0 That being said, there is a noticeable drop off between the Steel Men and the two AFC teams above them on this list.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6.\u00c2\u00a0 San Diego Chargers<\/strong><br \/>\nMaybe the early season was just a case of needing to adjust to the new coaching staff.\u00c2\u00a0 The Chargers will make some noise in the second half.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7.\u00c2\u00a0 Green Bay<\/strong> <strong>Packers<br \/>\n<\/strong>Low ranking for a one-loss team?\u00c2\u00a0 Maybe.\u00c2\u00a0 I still feel like the Pack is doing things with mirrors.\u00c2\u00a0 Win on Monday night in Denver.\u00c2\u00a0 That will help convince me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8.\u00c2\u00a0 Jacksonville Jaguars<\/strong><br \/>\nOnce again the Jags are good but not great.\u00c2\u00a0 Is that going to be good enough for Del Rio to stay as coach?<\/p>\n<p><strong>9.\u00c2\u00a0 Carolina Panthers<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Panthers are 4-2 and haven\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t had much from the QB position.\u00c2\u00a0 They get a chance to prove themselves at home against the Colts Sunday.\u00c2\u00a0 My bet is they don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t make the week eight top ten.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Tennessee Titans<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Titans find ugly ways to win even if it means kicking eight field goals.\u00c2\u00a0 They aren\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t going to do much this season, but one more draft and a couple free agents will make them very interesting next year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bottom Five<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>28. San Francisco 49ers<\/strong><br \/>\nWelcome to the bottom Five, Niners.\u00c2\u00a0 When the opponent\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s defense has more scoring potential than your offense, things are bad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>29. Atlanta Falcons<\/strong><br \/>\nHello Leftwich\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6goodbye Leftwich.\u00c2\u00a0 What a shock \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Byron can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t stay healthy.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>30. New York Jets<\/strong><br \/>\nThere\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a warm seat available on the bench whenever Mangenius is ready to pull the plug on Pop-gun Pennington.\u00c2\u00a0 It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s rebuilding time, Coach.\u00c2\u00a0 Everyone seems to know except you.\u00c2\u00a0 P.S.\u00c2\u00a0 Herm\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s team is 4-3 and in first place with Damon Huard playing QB\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6ouch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>31. Miami Dolphins<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Fins got beat again and lost their best player for the season.\u00c2\u00a0 At least the weather is nice in Miami.<\/p>\n<p><strong>32.
