\/><\/a>According to a report by <a href=\"http:\/\/profootballtalk.nbcsports.com\/2012\/03\/12\/league-strips-cowboys-redskins-of-millions-in-cap-space\/\">Adam Schefter <\/a>of ESPN the NFL has stripped the Dallas Cowboys of $10 million and Washington Redskins of $36 million in salary cap space for violations during the uncapped year 2010.\u00a0 This decrease will create a wind fall for most NFL teams, including the Jets, increasing their salary cap space by $1.6 million:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Schefter<\/strong> reports that the Cowboys will lose more than $10 million \u2014 and that the\u00a0Redskins will lose $36 million.<\/p>\n<p>The money will be reallocated to the other teams, with every franchise except the Saints and Raiders picking up <strong>$1.6 million<\/strong> in extra cap space.\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>With this increase along with the <a href=\"http:\/\/profootballtalk.nbcsports.com\/2012\/03\/10\/breaking-down-sanchezs-lipstick-and-powder-contract\/\">Sanchez<\/a> and <a title=\"D\u2019Brickashaw Ferguson Restructures Contract\" href=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2012\/02\/24\/dbrickashaw-ferguson-restructures-contract-creating-over-7-million-in-new-cap-space\/\">Ferguson<\/a> contract restructurings the Jets now have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nyjetscap.com\/salary.html\">$15 million <\/a>in salary cap space.\u00a0 Aaron Maybin&#8217;s tender amount is included in this figure.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For additional information
