{"id":1042,"date":"2007-08-25T12:56:33","date_gmt":"2007-08-25T17:56:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=1042"},"modified":"2007-08-25T12:56:33","modified_gmt":"2007-08-25T17:56:33","slug":"game-preview-jets-vs-giants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2007\/08\/25\/game-preview-jets-vs-giants\/","title":{"rendered":"Game Preview: Jets vs. Giants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" align=\"right\" width=\"80\" src=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/graphics\/2007\/team\/nyg.gif\" height=\"80\" style=\"width: 80px; height: 80px\" \/>The Jets take on the Giants tonight in the Meadowlands.\u00c2\u00a0 The Jets are the visitors for this game which starts at 8pm and will be televised on WNBC.<\/p>\n<p>The Jets split their first two preseason games.\u00c2\u00a0 With the first set of roster cuts scheduled to take place later this week, this will be the last chance to get noticed for <!--more-->any players on the bubble.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest question marks for the Jets are:<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00c2\u00a0 The Offensive Line.\u00c2\u00a0 Can Jacob Bender really be the starting Left Guard?\u00c2\u00a0 Pete Kendall got his wish and was traded earlier this week.\u00c2\u00a0 Bender was a Tackle in college so it will be worth watching his play closely.\u00c2\u00a0 If he isn&#8217;t ready, the Jets will go back to Adrien Clarke but they didn&#8217;t seem real impressed with his play earlier this preseason.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00c2\u00a0 Darrelle Revis.\u00c2\u00a0 He is going to start tonight at CB. After just one week of camp, can he contribute?\u00c2\u00a0 Tonight&#8217;s game won&#8217;t provide all the answers but it will give us a glimpse at Revis who has not seen the field yet this preseason due to his holdout.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00c2\u00a0 Chad Pennington.\u00c2\u00a0 Last week he looked like a rookie with some very bad interceptions.\u00c2\u00a0 With a veteran the preseason isn&#8217;t as important but it would be nice to see Chad step up and give everyone confidence that this offense is ready to begin the season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Jets take on the Giants tonight in the Meadowlands.\u00c2\u00a0 The Jets are the visitors for this game which starts at 8pm and will be televised on WNBC.
