The announcement was made by General Manager Mike Tannenbaum.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Epps (6-3\/250\/Miami\/Richmond, VA)<\/strong> was released from the Indianapolis Colts practice squad (12\/1\/11) after being signed to the practice squad (10\/6\/11).\u00a0 He spent most of the 2010 season with the Miami Dolphins where he played three games, including his NFL debut at the Jets (12\/12\/10).\u00a0 Epps was drafted in the seventh round (235<sup>th<\/sup> overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers and spent training camp with the team before being signed to Miami\u2019s practice squad (9\/14\/10).\u00a0 He totaled 49 receptions for 634 yards and six touchdowns during his college career at Miami.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Courtesy NY Jets PR Department The New York Jets have signed TE Dedrick Epps to the practice squad.
