JetNation – Week 2 Power Rankings

NY Jets Inactive Players

Here’s the updated JetNation top ten power rankings:

10) Carolina Panthers:

Don’t let the loss to the Buccaneers fool you, Carolina is a dangerous team.

9) Atlanta Falcons:

When you’re plus 4 in the turnover department you should win, the Falcons just hold on.

8) New York Giants:

Over 600 yards of offense is impressive, the fact they needed that much at home against Tampa Bay not so.

7) Pittsburgh Steelers:

Old, slow and injured but still find ways to win.  The Steelers will be in the top ten all year and fight the Ravens for the AFC North title.

6) New England Patriots:

They are 1-1 and who have they played? Let’s see how their new look defense does against the Ravens this week.

5) Baltimore Ravens:

Tough loss in Philadelphia but the Ravens can run it, throw it and play defense.

4) Green Bay Packers:

Defense really got after Jay Cutler. The Packers are still the favorites to win the NFC North.

3) Houston Texans:

Have beat up on weak competition, will have a real test against Peyton Manning and the Broncos at Mile High this week.

2) Philadelphia Eagles:

Losing starting center Jason Kelce for the season will hurt but how good is rookie linebacker Mychal Kendricks?

1) San Francisco 49ers:

Beat the Packers in Lambeau Field then stopped the high powered Lions offense.  Two impressive wins.

Fallen Out:

Chicago Bears: Offensive line still a problem.
